Hiring Requirements

Independent Counselling Enterprises aims to provide quality services to our clientele. In order to ensure our standards are achieved we require prospective employees to provide us with the following minimum:












  1. Clear Police Security Clearance
  2. Emergency First Aid/ CPR Level A certificate (*within first 3 months of employment)
  3. Two Positive Work Related Reference (No Personal References)
  4. Valid Open Work Permit (if applicable)
  5. Pro-Active Behavior Intervention (PBI) (*On-site training provided in this area)
  6. Intervention Record Check (*response on file within first 3 months of employment)

In addition we require all employees to attend Pre-Employment Training. This training provides employees with an overview of the organizations mission, standards, policies & procedures.
