WHO WE ARE Independent Counselling Enterprises (ICE) is one of the largest and most respected service providers in the disability services industry. The agency has more than 30 years experience serving individuals with developmental disabilities and helping them meet their goals. ICE is owned and operated in Alberta and has offices in Edmonton, Calgary, Grande Prairie and Lethbridge. Every three years the agency participates in an intensive audit carried out by the Alberta Council of Disability Services (ACDS) called Creating Excellence Together (CET). ICE initially participated in 2002. Each time the agency has participated it has scored 100% in all regions, including most recently in June 2017 when they agency scored 100% in obtaining Level 2 certification which is an achievement unprecedented within the industry. In addition, ICE voluntarily completed the Certificate of Recognition (COR) audit in 2005 and maintains a strong commitment to client and employee Health and Safety through continued COR status, reliably scoring 97% or higher for the past 5 years. Most recently in 2017 ICE completed an external recertification audit with a result of 98%.
