Community Support Workers in a Residential Setting – Relief and Regular Position

Terms of Employments: Monday - Friday (anywhere between 7am-11pm), Weekend Days, Awake overnights
Location: Throughout Edmonton, North and South Side
Commitment: One Year Required for positions

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assisting clients with daily living skills
  • Performing personal care
  • Light housekeeping & simple meal preparation
  • Working as part of a residential team
  • Dealing with behaviours
  • Maintaining appropriate documentations and records
  • Involving the client in community outings and activities
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with people with disabilities required
  • Ability to deal effectively with behaviors an asset
  • Experience working with personal care required
  • Flexible with availability and location in Edmonton
  • Must submit two work related references
  • Must have a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check. Applicants are required to submit before commencing employment with I.C.E.
  • Must have First Aid with CPR level A or C
  • Vehicle, valid driver’s license & 3rd party $2 million liability insurance an asset
  • Valid Work or Study Permit (If Applicable
  • Willing to complete 2 ½ days of Pre-Employment Training
