Main Staff
Terms of Employment: Monday thru Friday with hours anywhere between 7am-11pm (Days and Evenings)
Location: Throughout Edmonton, North and South Side
Commitment: One Year Required
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with daily living skills
- Performing personal care
- Light housekeeping & simple meal preparation
- Working as part of a residential team
- Dealing with behaviours
- Maintaining appropriate documentations and records
- Involving the client in community outings and activities
Qualifications:
- Experience working with people with disabilities required
- Ability to deal effectively with behaviours an asset
- Experience working with personal care required
- Must have clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check & two work related references required
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19
- Must have a minimum of Emergency First Aid with CPR level A
- Vehicle, valid driver’s license & 3rd party $2 million liability insurance an asset
- Valid work/study permit (if applicable)
- Willing to complete 2 ½ days of Pre-Employment Training
