Team Leader

Terms of Employment: Monday to Friday (Days & Evenings)

Location: Throughout Edmonton, North and South side

Commitment: One Year Required

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assisting clients with daily living skills routines including personal care
  • Performing bookkeeping duties
  • Light housekeeping & simple meal preparation
  • Working as part of a residential team
  • Dealing effectively with behaviours
  • Maintaining appropriate documentations and records
  • This position is required to work all statutory holidays
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with people with disabilities required
  • Degree or diploma in rehabilitation or relevant field required
  • Experience in developing behaviour guidelines required
  • Experience working with people with disabilities required
  • Experience working with challenging behaviours an asset
  • Experience working with personal care required
  • Must agree to complete I.C.E. Team Coordinator’s training course.
  • Must have a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check. Applicants are required to submit before commencing employment with I.C.E.
  • Must submit two work related reference
  • Must have a minimum of Emergency First Aid with CPR level A
  • Vehicle, valid driver’s license & 3rd party $2 million liability insurance required
  • Valid Work or Study Permit (If Applicable)
  • Must be willing to complete 2 1/2 days of Pre-Employment Training
