Team Leader

Terms of Employment: Monday to Friday Days & Evenings

Location: Edmonton Area

Commitment: One Year Required

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assisting clients with daily living routines including personal care
  • Performing bookkeeping duties
  • Dealing effectively with behaviours
  • Working as part of a residential team
  • Light housekeeping duties and simple meal preparation
  • Maintaining appropriate documentations and records
  • This position is required to work all statutory holidays
Qualifications:
  • Degree or diploma in rehabilitation or relevant field required
  • Experience in developing behavioural guidelines required
  • Experience working with people with disabilities required
  • Experience working with challenging behaviours an asset
  • Experience working with personal care required
  • Must be in agreement to complete I.C.E. Team Coordinator’s training course.
  • Must have a clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check & two work related references
  • Vehicle, valid driver’s license & 3rd party $2 million liability insurance required
  • Valid Work Permit (If Applicable)
  • Must be willing to complete 2 1/2 days of Pre-Employment Training

Independent Counselling Enterprises (I.C.E.) is a province-wide agency that has been in operation since 1986. We offer support to individuals with developmental disabilities. We are community based and strive to empower and foster independence in our clients.
